Skybet are innovators in one of the biggest betting games currently in operation for football betting; the Super 6. The free to enter game allows you to win the chance of bagging up to £250,000 each week by simply selecting a series of results from 6 selected games. If no winner occurs then a jackpot of £5,000 will be paid out to the person with the most points from that game week. All that’s needed is a Skybet account and an eye for picking out winners in the footie.
How it works
Each week Skybet will select 6 games of which you have to enter the correct score of. The games are all 3pm kick offs on a Saturday and will consists of all Premier League ties at this time and any Championship games needed to complete the mix. On International weekends the games from League 1 are used instead but the same rules still apply.
Points are then distributed depending on how close to the correct result you came. So if you pick the correct winner of the match you will receive 2 points, if you choose the correct score line then you will pick up a maximum of 5 points. To receive the full £250,000 prize then you need to get all the scores exactly right. To receive the £5,000 consolation prize you need to get the highest number of points from that game week. In the event of two or more people getting the same amount of points or guessing the same correct scores, then it will go a tie breaker. The tie breaker is simply choosing the minute of the first goal from the 6 games. Every week at the bottom of your selection you will have to choose this.
There is also a prize for the person with the most points over the course of a season. By winning the Super 6 league you can win an all expenses trip for two to New York to watch the New York Red Bulls play in an MLS game. On top of that there are monthly prizes for top point’s scorer where you can win a host of additional prizes.
Super 6 Specials
A good feature about the Super 6 is that Skybet have integrated it into their betting portal. For each game week there will be two betting markets; Super 6 Accumulator and a guest Super 6 pick usually from one of the Sky Sports presenters.
The accumulator will include a result from all the games that are in the current super 6 picks for that week but are generally just the favourites from each game in an accumulator. The guest pick will be their choices from the games that week and often provide a little more value than the former. Keep an eye out when the picks are made from some of the pundits in the Sky Sports studios; tapping into past and even current players tipping knowledge will often yield a decent advantage.
